Drew Maloney's Career
Drew Maloney joined The Federalist Group, now Ogilvy Government Relations, an Ogilvy PR Worldwide Company, as Managing Director in 2002. Mr. Maloney’s experience in legislative affairs has garnered him attention and praise from both Hill leadership and K Street Lobbyists. Named to the Hill Newspaper’s list of Top Lobbyists in Washington, Drew Maloney brings experience, intellect and political knowledge unparalleled in today’s legislative arena.
Drew Maloney served as Administrative Assistant and Legislative Director for the Republican House Majority Whip. His role with the leadership of Congress was multifaceted. While working in Leadership, Mr. Maloney managed the Whip's congressional office and played an intricate part in formulating the energy, judiciary, commerce and campaign finance reform policy initiatives.
Prior to joining leadership staff, Drew Maloney served as Legislative Director to Congressman Ed Bryant (R-TN), where he handled duties before the Judiciary and Commerce Committees. As Bryant's counsel on judiciary matters, Mr. Maloney helped conduct the interview of Monica Lewinsky and managed the impeachment proceedings. Prior to Bryant, he worked for Congressman Roger Wicker (R-MS), where he handled energy policy and appropriations issues.
Drew Maloney’s political experience includes working on several campaigns at the congressional and state level. As Campaign Manager, he successfully managed a campaign to elect Tommy Norment to the position of Virginia State Senator. He then served as Field Director for Steve Agee during his campaign for the Virginia Republican nomination to Attorney General. He also acted as Political Director for Carlyle Gregory Company, providing political consulting services for national congressional campaigns, including Representatives Roger Wicker, Rick Lazio, Dan Miller and Clay Shaw. Mr. Maloney utilized his political experience as Congressional Liaison for the law firm Robertson, Monagle and Eastaugh as well.
Drew Maloney holds a B.A. in political science from Randolph-Macon College and a J.D. from Catholic University's Columbus School of Law.
